Over the last 8 years Mr. Askes has focused his career, time and energy on exploring, researching and treating the condition of anterior rib pain or costochondritis. After several years of clinical design and testing, he developed a new physical therapy treatment option for costochondritis: the Breathing Assisted Recoil Technique (BART). It is the first treatment technique of its kind to specifically address the anterior rib joints involved in costochondritis.
