I was impressed by this book. Peter has published a well-written, thorough and easy to read book. It is very well organized and I have shared it with my colleagues at work.

Finally, a book written by a physical therapist for patients suffering with costochondritis. The book is an easy read. Mr. Askes uses a conversational style, producing the best-written book about costochondritis that I have seen. I highly recommend this book

Several years ago I experienced severe pain in my chest. I was examined by my orthopedist, cardiologist, and pulmonologist in an effort to identify the cause of the pain. I was ultimately diagnosed with costochondritis; however, none of the doctors offered any treatment for the condition. I discussed my problem with my physical therapist Peter Askes who informed me he had developed a treatment called breathing assisted recoil technique (BART) specifically for the treatment of rib pain. The very first therapy session resulted in significant relief from my pain. A few follow-up sessions eliminated the pain entirely! A few years later I experienced a recurrence of the rib pain. The BART treatment again eradicated all pain.
